About

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with a Doctorate in Clinical Forensic Psychology (Psy.D.), offering nearly 20 years of experience in helping individuals and families connect more deeply with themselves and one another. My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in both evidence-based techniques and holistic healing practices.

Who I Work With

I specialize in working with:

  • Infants & Children

  • Teens & Young Adults

  • Couples & Families

  • Women’s Mental Health

I support clients navigating a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, trauma, relational challenges, identity exploration, and life transitions. My goal is to provide a safe and supportive space where every individual feels seen, heard, and empowered to grow.

In addition, I specialize in women’s mental health, with a focus on the psychological, emotional, and physiological impacts of perimenopause + menopause and hormonal transitions.

My approach integrates mind-body awareness and evidence-based practices to support women through these complex and often overlooked phases of life.

Therapeutic Approach

My clinical work is informed by:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

  • Trauma-Informed CBT

  • Solution-Focused Therapy

  • Systems Theory (Family Therapy)

  • Mindfulness-Based Practices

  • Holistic Healing Approaches

I believe healing happens when we can align with our authentic selves and trust the inner wisdom that’s often buried beneath stress, pain, and/or societal expectations.

Additional Services

In addition to individual and family therapy, I also offer:

  • Court-Appointed Reunification Therapy

  • Court and Non-Court-Related Forensic Assessments & Psychological Testing

  • Clinical Consultation for early-career therapists transitioning from graduate school, internship, and into private practice

My consultation work provides guidance and practical tools to support the professional and personal development of new clinicians.

Teaching & Academic Work

I'm proud to have served as an Adjunct Faculty Member at Park University, teaching at both the Barstow and Victorville campuses. I’ve taught across undergraduate and graduate programs, with course topics including:

  • Research Methods

  • Statistics for the Social Sciences

  • Learning and Motivation

  • Systems of Psychotherapy

  • Positive Psychology

My teaching reflects the same values I bring into my clinical work—curiosity, integrity, and a lifelong dedication to growth and learning. I truly believe that education is one of the most meaningful investments a person can make in themselves. Knowledge gained through learning becomes a lasting resource—something no one can take away.

A Final Note

I am extremely passionate about challenging outdated mental health stigmas and creating a therapeutic space where clients can reconnect with their truth, their resilience, and their sense of purpose. Whether you're looking for personal healing, support for your child or family, or guidance in your professional journey as a therapist—I’m here to walk alongside you.
